Biking to St. Thomas

Riding a bicycle is an excellent way to get to and from campus - it's inexpensive, environmentally friendly, and a great form of exercise. Minnesota has miles of paved bicycle trails. No matter which direction you are coming from, you will be sure to find a bike route to use that gets you to either campus.

Bike Racks on Campus

There are many bicycle racks on campus, often near the entrance of buildings. If there is not a rack right next to the door you intend to use, look at another entrance to the building.

Resident student bike storage is located in the Schoenecker Hall North (formerly Tommie North) Garage, Morrison Hall Garage and the Frey Residence Hall Garage. A secure bike storage locker is available the Anderson Parking Facility, and is available to all students, faculty and staff. Bike storage lockers are available on a first come, first served basis, and are accessible using a St. Thomas ID card. There is no charge to store bicycles; users will need to supply their own locks.

Unfortunately, bicycle thieves do target 富二代视频 campuses. We recommend the U-lock bicycle lock to secure your bike.

Please be sure to only lock your bike to a bike rack. Bikes are not allowed to be secured to trees, signs, railings or any other object other than a bike rack. Bikes not secured to bike racks may be removed by Public Safety. Read the Bicycle Parking Policies

Bike repair stations are located on both campuses.

St. Paul

  • near the bike racks on the south side of O'Shaughnessy Stadium
  • near the bike racks outside the west entrance of Owens Science Hall
  • inside the secure bike storage in Frey Residence Hall (only accessible to resident students)
  • inside the secure bike storage in Schoenecker Hall North (formerly Tommie North) (only accessible to resident students)

Minneapolis
